My casseroles are made in the USA by hand on the potters wheel. I coat the inside with a layer of terrasigilatta, which is a natural earth seal. The seal makes the pot very smooth and easy to clean. I do not use a glaze and my claybody does not contain any lead or other harmful chemicals. Just soak the pot and lid in water prior to using and bake a delicious meal.
